¥_Su Doku_¥

Pronounced Su-Do-Ku, Su Doku (not 'Sudoku', lazy western journos, LOL!) is the Japanese game that has taken the western world by storm. Normally Japanese puzzles are too high brow for us ignorant westerners to follow, but here the Japanese really struck gold. Su Doku is over 5,000 years old and was invented by Jpanese monks during the Ping dynasty. Westerners have finally evolved to the necessary cognitive level to now play this game! It alos employs the use of numbers, but is NOT MATHEMATC. Genius! 'Su Doku' can not be literally translated into English as Japanese is far more sophisticated than western dialects, but it roughly means 'Put the numbers in the corresponding areas but do not allow duplicates either vertically, horizontally or within any of the nine squares"

*Update* I have received several emails telling me that Su Doku was NOT invented in Japan 5000 years ago, but in America about a decade ago. It's just typical of westerners that they want to lay claim to all the great inventions in the world. Why not try it yourself!! ^_^
